Coatings

Why Use one coating over another?

Epoxy Stone is ideal for older and cracked concrete. This is because stone is blended together to form one color. If a crack would ever come back, it can be easily fixed and would not be very noticeable.

When concrete has settled epoxy stone is easily built up to form a level surface that is very pleasing to the eye. Another reason one would use epoxy stone is because it is thicker, allowing for more expansion and contraction. Epoxy stone is porous and eliminates puddles. Installation of Epoxy stone does not require as many steps as with other coatings.

McKinnon Crete is often used for newer concrete but can be applied to older concrete with some additional prep work. The concrete surface must be level and have no cracks for the surface to look truly authentic. McKinnon Crete is very versatile, and can be applied in numerous shapes and colors.
